At Kish Dykstra & Scott, P.C., we focus exclusively on estate planning (wills, trust, powers of attorney), elder law, Medicaid, probate, special needs planning, charitable trusts and foundations, and real estate matters. Gregory R. Kish
Gregory R. Kish handles most of the firm’s elder law matters. Greg is one of a small fraction of Michigan lawyers to have earned the Certified Elder Law Attorney designation from the National Elder Law Foundation. Greg is a member of the Bay Area Senior Advocates and State Bar of Michigan’s Elder Law and Disability Rights Section and also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of PACE North. -
Heather Blanton-Dykstra
Heather Blanton-Dykstra has been in practice for over 20 years specializing in estate planning, estate and trust administration, and probate litigation. She currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Traverse Health Clinic and has previously served on the Board of Directors for the Women’s Resource Center. -
Carrie Hahn
Carrie joined the law firm in 2001. She is paralegal to Heather Dykstra, Gregory R. Kish, and John A. Scott for estate planning, decedent's estates, and trust administration. She has been a paralegal for the past 30 years. She received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Ferris State University. She enjoys spending her free time with her family. -
Julie A. Houdek
Julie A. Houdek joined the law firm in 2016. She is a paralegal to Heather B. Dykstra and Gregory R. Kish with a focus on elder law, Medicaid, and estate planning matters. She has been employed in the legal field for the past 31 years. Julie received her Paralegal Certificate from the American Institute for Paralegal Studies, of Southfield, Michigan. Julie enjoys spending her free time with her family and playing with her grand-dogs, Olive and Hank. -
Sarah Pettigrew
Sarah is a northern Michigan native and enjoys spending her free time outside with her family enjoying everything northern Michigan has to offer. She obtained a bachelor’s degree in Arts and Sciences from Western Michigan University, and comes to us with an administration background. Sarah’s focus is keeping our cliental happy.
